Other Resources

The Brooks Computer Center is available to all students and faculty. It provides a centralized administration and technological support for all academic computing needs,and allows students to take advantage of rapidly emerging hardware and software technologies. The center maintains an ample supply of computers of allmajor types—Intel™ based machines, Apple Macintosh™, Sun Microsystems™ IBM™ are examples. The machines are concentrated in computer classrooms,offices, laboratories, the residence hall and special centers. The Computer Center website can be found here.

The Cooper Union Library manages an extensive collection of books relevant to art, architecture, and engineering. Participation in several library consortia allow the Cooper Union student to access the holdings at numerous other area libraries. The Cooper Union library maintains a dedicated website here.

Other departments of Cooper Union are open to interdisciplinary projects, and the facilities and labs operated by other engineering departments are open to use by electrical engineering students for relevant projects.
